On Monday 14th September 2026, the Year 6 students of Casey Fields Primary School will be heading off to Camp Manyung in Mount Eliza. The students will be at camp for 3 days and 2 nights, returning on Wednesday 16th September 2026 at approximately 3.00pm.

The students will be sleeping in separate blocks for boys and girls. Each cabin will include approximately 7 students.

Whilst on camp the students will participate in such activities as the giant swing, archery, team building challenges, beach carnival games and camp fire cooking. All the activities at camp will be ‘challenge by choice’ and run by experts from the camp to guarantee that all students have a great time.

School camps also provide an opportunity for students to develop new skills that they wouldn’t be able to in a school environment. They will be encouraged to develop independence and new social skills, as well as creating lifelong memories.

Students are required to arrive at school by 8:30am (teachers will be on site from 8am to collect medication/meet students) with a backpack, packed lunch, drink bottle, hat, and coat. Attendance will be marked, and any medications must be handed to the teacher in charge of First Aid with a completed Medication Authority Form. We will be departing for Camp Manyung at approximately 9.00am.
(Please Note: medications can not be taken from sick bay.)
