Lightning Premiership is a whole day round robin sports day where students compete in their interschool sport team against local schools in our district. The sports students will compete in are the same as the one they have been practicing during year 6 sport.
Games will begin around 10am and conclude by 2pm.

Venue:
AFL – Casey Fields Oval 2 and 3 – Walking

Please note for AFL:
* Mouthguards are compulsory for AFL. ALL students must bring and wear a correctly fitted mouthguard during all games.
* CFPS have a limited number of mouthguards for sale for $17 each at the front office – (no cash EFTPOS only)
* It is the parents/carers responsibility to ensure that mouthguards are fitted correctly by following the instructions supplied on the packaging.
* Casey Fields Primary School will not be fitting any mouthguards.
* Parents/carers are advised it is their responsibility to ensure the above process is followed so that their child is able to participate in this event.

What to wear:
* Full School Uniform
* Runners

What to bring:
* Water Bottle
* School Bag with lunch and snack like a normal school day –NO LUNCH ORDERS for any students attending this event as they will not be at school to collect them. Packed lunch only please.
* Soccer/AFL students can wear soccer/football boots and shin guards if they have them

This is a normal school day so students are expected to arrive at school on time by 8:35am, they will then walk to their events for the day and walk back to school and will be dismissed from school at 3pm. If your child is late there is no guarantee that they will still be able to attend so, please ensure that they are at school on time.

Please note consent for this activity is covered by the 2026 Annual Permissions so please make sure you have consented in the annual permissions, or your child will not be able to attend and if you have done the permissions but do not wish for your child to attend, please advise the school via email.
