On Wednesday 14 October 2026, Casey Fields Primary School will present its first original school production, The Broken TV Remote, at Bunjil Place Theatre.

Students have been working extremely hard during Performing Arts sessions and rehearsals to prepare their class dance, costumes and performance. This will be an exciting opportunity for students to perform on a professional stage in front of a live audience.

Students must arrive at school by 8:35am and report directly to their classroom teacher. Classroom teachers will complete attendance before students begin loading the buses.

The acting cast includes students performing in Show 1 and Show 2 so please check the attached Acting Cast Show Program carefully to see which shows your child will be performing in and in what capacity. Noting that some students will be perfoming in both shows.

• 10:00 am–11:35am: Show 1 performance including welcome.
• 1:00 pm–2:35pm: Show 2 performance including welcome.

Cast actors will join their classroom group for their class dance where this is included in the production plan. After performing, they will return to the supervised acting cast group.

Keeping the full acting cast together for the entire day will ensure that students are available for their assigned acting roles, class performances, costume changes, microphone preparation and rehearsals.

Students will travel to and from Bunjil Place via bus as one cast group with supervising teachers.
