Wildlife Xposure will bring a range of Native Australian animals to visit the prep students, including a range of Mammals, Birds, Marsupials, Amphibians and Reptiles . Students will be able to use their new knowledge on Animals and their habitats when observing animals native to our local area. This incursion will be held over two days. There will be a Student Free Day on Thursday 13th July 2023 No students are required at school on this day.

Through a range of experiments, Fizzics Education will encourage students to explore the joy of scientific discovery and investigate their curiosity about the world around them. Students will be able to expand their critical and creative thinking skills, explore and explain scientific phenomena, and draw evidence-based conclusions using scientific methods. These experiments include: - properties of solids, liquids, and gases - physical changes vs. chemical reactions - bubbling dry ice & colour-changing chemical reactions - kitchen chemistry found at home…

Selected students have qualified from the School Sports Victoria - Casey South Division Competition and are now competing in the Southern Metropolitan Region Netball Competition Please see Compass for further information.

Fire Rescue Victoria will be attending our school to provide a safety educational program for the preps! The students will learn about fire safety, what is an emergency (Call triple zero), introduction to the concept: Stop Drop Cover and Roll, and a visit to the fire truck. Selected students will compete in the District Athletics Day at Casey Fields Athletics Track. These students have been selected based on their results at our school athletics day and physical education classes. Students will be advised of their specific events they have qualified for.
