Year 6 & selected Year 5 students will compete against other local schools in their chosen sport (cricket, soccer, modified volleyball, tee ball, netball) Students will travel by bus when playing away games. Home games will be played on site or students will walk to the Livingston Reserve next door.   Please see Compass for more details.

As part of our inquiry unit in Term 2, students will be exploring Earth and Space Science. students will be participating in an incursion delivered by Science Discovery Dome - a planetarium that comes to us! Year 2 students will go into the dome for a 40 minute immersive experience where they will learn about night and day, the moon, stars, and the seasons. The Grade 4s will be travelling to the Planetarium at Scienceworks on Tuesday 30th May to view the Earth, Moon and Sun show. This viewing will support the learning of our Term 2 Inquiry Unit - The Earth, Moon and Sun (Sciences).   Please see Compass for further details.  

Select students have qualified for the Casey South Division Cross Country and will be running on Wednesday 31st May 2023 at Toomuc Recreation Reserve, Pakenham. Please see Compass for further details.  

Hoop Time brings together school kids from across the area for a single-day round robin tournament held at Casey Stadium. The competition is run and umpired by Basketball Victoria. Students will be selected from grades 5 and 6 to represent our school in the competition, no basketball experience in required. Students will be walking to Casey Stadium from school and returning before the end of the day. Please see Compass for further details.  

Life Education runs face to face programs that cover a range of topics across the areas oh physical health, safety and social and emotional wellbeing. The programs are designed to engage, inspire and empower students about age specific issues. The Year 2 students will be participating in the Growing Good Friends program over two days which focuses on investigating healthy lifestyle choices that impact both their health and emotional wellbeing.
