The School Saving Bonus is a one-off $400 support for government school students from Prep to Year 12 in 2025. This support will help cover the cost of school uniforms and school activities like camps, excursions and sports.
The School Saving Bonus is in addition to existing and continuing means-tested supports for Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) and the Affordable School Uniforms Program.
You should have received an email from the department containing your code and login details. If you have not received this information yet, please contact them directly to request it.
You can decide how to best use the School Saving Bonus for your family’s needs. You can choose how to allocate the $400 in the online system. Once you have logged into the online system you can then allocate your desired amount to either school uniform or school activities.

Please be aware that there is currently a delay between the SSB portal and our school systems, which the Department is working to resolve. If you do not see the CSEF/credit payment option after a few days, please email the school with the details of the event for which you would like to use this payment method, and we will ensure it is allocated accordingly.
